Very welcoming staff, 2nd time we have been since arriving in Wexford. Lovely turmeric lattes the first time and beetroot lattes yesterday.
There are tables upstairs as well as in service part. Tables upstairs are serviced by staff where area downstairs is just order at counter.
Thank you 😊 If we come to Ireland again we will visit Cappuccinos
Well we went back on our last day and had a lovely lunch with a beetroot latte. We sat upstairs and ordered. There is another floor above with more tables and chairs plus the bathrooms. Lovely ladies were happy to see us again.

Stopped here for lunch , as I always do when visiting Wexford. Food and services was lovely " But when I received my bill recipe I was disappointed , for the first time ever , anywhere I was charging for hot water and a slice of lemon . I enquire at the till when paying my bill to a mature dark haired lady " why. " she told me it was to cut out time wasters and table buggers. She could clearly see by my recipe I was not a " time waster or table hugger " I had purchased food . 28 year in catering myself and to think is this how she looks at some of the customers is upset to think . Despite her response it is still a lovely cafe . Don't know if I'd return again .

Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and for your continued support over the years. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your lunch and that both the food and service met your expectations.

We're very sorry to learn that your visit ended on a disappointing note. We understand why being charged for a pot of hot water served with slice of fresh lemon in a cup & saucer came as an unwelcome surprise, particularly after purchasing lunch. While we do have a policy regarding this item, we're sorry that the explanation given left you feeling undervalued. That was certainly not our intention.
More importantly....The use of the term 'table buggers or table huggers' and timewasters as you refer to were not words used by us. We would never refer to our highly valued customers as time wasters. Customer loyalty has been key to this business for the last 35 years.

We genuinely appreciate your feedback. We hope you'll consider visiting us again in the future, as we'd love the chance to provide you with the positive experience you've come to expect from us.

Thank you again for your honest feedback.
